Recap of Michael Gligic’s second round at the 2022 John Deere Classic

Michael Gligic hit 13 of 18 greens in regulation in his second round at the John Deere Classic, finishing 9 under for the tournament. Gligic finished the day tied for 7th at 9 under; JT Poston is 1st under 15; Denny McCarthy is 2nd at 11 under; and Chris Naegel, Emiliano Grillo, Christopher Gotterup and Matthias Schwab are tied for 3rd at 10 under.

On the 361-yard par-4 14th hole, Gligic hit the green in 2 and holed a 7-foot putt for a birdie. This moved Gligic to 1 under for the round.

On the 484-yard par-4 15th, Gligic had a bogey after hitting the green on a 3 and two putts, moving Gligic to a par for the round.

On the 158-yard par-3 16, Gligic hit a 147-yard tee shot to the green, setting up for the 6-foot putt for a birdie. This moved Gligic to 1 under for the round.

On the par-4 18 from 476 yards, his second shot from Gligic went 150 yards to the middle rough, his third shot was a fall and his chip went 7 yards to the green where he putt bogey. This moved him to par for the round.

On the 454-yard par-4 fourth hole, Gligic reached the green in 2 and holed an 18-foot putt for a birdie. This moved Gligic to 1 under for the round.

After a hard shot to the right on the 367-yard par-4 sixth hole, Gligic completed an approach shot from 123 yards, setting up for the birdie. That moved Gligic to 2 under for the round.
